Music festivals are known for crowding in the Millennial, eclectic, and aesthetically-dubious types. With thousands attending this year’s Boston Calling, the strong music lineup was not the only thing making noise. Although many festival-goers opted for the bohemian-tired get-up (the flower crown, plastic appropriated Ray-ban sunglasses, crocheted crop top, ripped, washed-out denim), many brought in fresh, ready-for-summer looks that were as broad as the genres on the musical docket. Here are some of my favorite festival looks from this past weekend. Click through for full-size images and descriptions.

The 80’s got a nod at Boston Calling. Sequins, fanny packs, metallics and a pair of platform sandals round out this decade twist.

Sisters and globetrotters, the Travelin Chicks are all over the globe and the digital map. Learn more about their travels on instagram at ‘thetravelinchicks’ or on Twitter @Travelinchicks. Kinsey, left, models a gold Loschy design crown while Chelsea, right, is bold in black.

Possibly the best pattern on a blouse we’ve ever seen. Also loving the Clubmaster sunglasses.

Mario makes a surprise appearance at Boston Calling!

Adding an acid-washed hoodie to a monochromatic look is a perfect way to make a bold statement. Matching graphic tees with a patterned skirt gives you a festival-friendly, rocker chic look.

Black romper, tights, leather jacket and leather boots to match. Spring doesn’t mean you have to give up on black.

Sunglasses at music festivals are a must. We love these aviators and round tortoise-shell styles.

All black everything.

Bow-tie, stache, and denim. Nostalgic looks also popular among Calling crowd.

High-waisted jeans, halter tops, and top-buttoned looks were popular among festivalgoers.

Oh, I found him!

Varsity jackets, graphic tees and sneaks. Bringing a California vibe to Boston.

A dress that’s got us all smiles.
